Hyundai has officially unveiled two special editions of the ix35 and i30, called the 2014 World Cup editions.
The new Hyundai ix35 World Cup Special Edition has received 1,500 GBP worth of equipment and it’s based on the premium. The model in question is getting the panoramic sunroof, the privacy glass or the 18-inch alloy wheels. The premium Go! SE is based on the Premium Panorama and it’s adding the heated steering wheel, the individual low tire pressure warning, the front parking sensors, being priced at 650 GBP.
Hyundai says that each crossover is getting the Go! Badges and the gloss black door mirrors, amongst others. Prices for the Hyundai ix35 World Cup Go! Will be set at 20,750 GBP while for the ix35 Go! SE, future customers will have to pay 23,000 GBP. Production of the first one will be limited to 550 models while the other will be assembled in 150 units. Both of them will be getting a 1.7 liter diesel engine under their hoods, along with a 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
Besides the ix35, the South Korean based automaker Hyundai is also preparing two special editions of the i30, the i30 Go! SE and the Go! SE Panorama, based on the five-door hatchback and getting a 1.4 liter petrol and a 1.6 liter diesel for the Go! SE and more powerful 1.6 liter petrol for the Go! SE Panorama. Extra goodies include the LED taillights, gloss black folding side mirrors with LED indicators, alloy wheels and the Go! SE Panorama is adding the 17-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof. Prices start at 16,000 GBP and 17,300 GBP, respectively.
