Hyundai Santa Fe was launched in Malaysia image

The standard wheelbase version of the Hyundai Santa Fe has been recently launched in Malaysia, where the model will set you back for RM163,888.

According to the South Korean based automaker, the Hyundai Santa Fe, which has arrived in Malaysia recently, is available in four versions, the 2.4 petrol Elegance, the petrol Executive Plus, the 2.2 diesel and the 2.2 CRDi Executive Plus. The cheapest version of the model will set you back for RM163,888 but if you’re looking for the top of the line 2.2 CRDi Executive Plus, with all the “goodies” fitted, than get ready to pay RM189,888 on the road, with insurance.

Two engines are available for the new Hyundai Santa Fe in Malaysia, the 2.2 “R” CRDi e-VGT diesel, with its 197 HP and 436 Nm of torque, available between 1,800 and 2,500 rpm, and the Theta II 2.4 MPI petrol variant, which is producing 176 HP and 227 Nm. Both units are mated to the six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftonic manual override mode. The all-wheel drive version is available too. The boot space stands at 585 liters, including the under floor space, which is enough for a trip or of hosting four golf bags.
