The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the E4U Concept, during the 2013 Seoul Motor Show.
The newest personal mobility vehicle is being signed by Hyundai and it’s named the E4U, coming, for the moment at least, as a full electric vehicle, which has a good chance of hitting the market in the nearby future. The Hyundai E4U Concept was officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2103 Seoul Motor Show, where it managed to attract a lot of curious eyes.
“The ‘E4U,’ exhibited at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show, is one of the winners of the ‘IDEA festival 2012,’ Hyundai Motor Group R&D Center’s internal contest, aimed at discovering fresh ideas on future mobility. Hyundai engineers can voluntarily suggest and realize new ideas of future transportations during the festival”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The Hyundai E4U Concept has an egg-like exterior with a retractable rear leg and a distinctive roof. The model can be controlled by the simple tilt of the driver’s body. Power is being provided by a 500 watt electric motor and 24 volt battery. The 80 kg (176 lbs) E4U Concept can reach a top speed of 30 km/h (18.6 mph). Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
