The South Korean based automaker Hyundai is still planning to develop a compact crossover which will go on against models such as the Nissan Juke.
Rumors on Hyundai developing a compact crossover, which will be offered on the Old Continent, have been around for quite some time now and it seems that despite the company hasn’t announced any details on it for the moment, the vehicle will be introduced. If this is something you have been looking for, don’t be too enthusiast because you will be in for a long wait as rumor has it that the model in question will be introduced sometimes in 2017.
The new Hyundai crossover will probably be based on the ix25 Concept, which has been officially presented to the public earlier this year, during the Beijing Motor Show but this might be sharing some styling tweaks with the Intrado Concept, which has been shown back in March, during the Geneva Motor Show. The compact crossover will go on against the first model to be offered in this segment, the Nissan Juke, along with its “cousin”, the Renault Captur and other vehicles like the Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka and so on. More details on it are limited for the moment.
