Hyundai has released the first details on its new Tucson Adventuremobile which will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 SEMA Motor Show.
The 2015th edition of the SEMA Motor Show is promising to be at least as fun as the previous one as most carmakers are announcing their presence at the event. Hyundai makes no exception from this rule and since this is not your ordinary car show, some wacky jobs are definitely accepted. The South Korean based company will be attending the event with a Tucson Adventuremobile, which has been designed to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts.
“Designed with the weekend adventurer in mind, the Tucson was the perfect platform for an ‘Adventuremobile,’” said John Pangilinan. “The build blends performance with the excitement of the great outdoors, without sacrificing daily usability. The vehicle promotes exploration, making it ideal for the daily commute, weekend excursions, and the occasional road trip.”
The new Hyundai Tucson Adventuremobile is bringing the army green finish for its exterior design, the Aries bull bar, the side steps, the LED light bar, the 1.5-inch suspension lift, the Rays Gram Lights 57DR wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T II tires, the Treeline Tamarack roof ten and the Goal Zero solar panels. The cabin is said to get a trunk vault, army green seatbelts, Katzkin leather, BP Auto Sound bespoke audio system and others. No word on what we can find under its hood for now. The model will be fully unveiled on the 3rd of November, during the SEMA event.
