The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently pulled the wraps off a brand new special edition of the new Tucson generation, which is named The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead TV show is making quite a fuzz amongst fans and after the main characters using a brand new Hyundai Tucson in it, the carmaker has decided to offer a special edition of the same model to customers interested in these kind of vehicles. The model in question is getting some body decals, a special splash screen on the navigation system, an Ash Black exterior design, sports red accents, special edition badging, mudguards, cross-railed roof rack and much more.
Hyundai says that the special edition of the Tucson is also getting what is described to be a Walking Dead 72-hour survivalist’s backpack, a necessary item for any zombie ‘prepper’”. The Hyundai Tucson The Walking Dead Special Edition is taking its power form the same 2.4 liter engine found on the standard CUV, which is producing a total output of 182 HP and it has a peak torque of 177 lb-ft. No pricing or availability details on this special Hyundai Tucson edition have been announced yet but chances are the vehicle will be launched in early 2014, in the U.S.
