The Hyundai Veloster lineup will be getting a new addition during the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, as the carmaker has officially announced.
The South Korean based car manufacturer is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off a new addition to the Veloster lineup, which should be placing the model into the spotlights once again. The new Hyundai Veloster version is likely to be just a simple special edition, but the car company didn’t release any details on it. In fact, we will have to wait for the 2014 Chicago Auto Show to open its gates on the 7th of February, in order to find out more about it.
The Hyundai Veloster has been in production since 2011 and it’s being offered in a four-door hatchback body style, being assembled in Ulsan, South Korea. The model stands at 4,219 mm in length, 1,791 mm in width and 1,400 mm in height. As far as the engine lineup goes, a total of three units are available for it, all of them with a 1.6 liter displacement, the I4, the GDI I4 and the turbo GDI I4. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed dual clutch.
