The Hyundai Veloster Rally Edition has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show as the model will go on sale across the U.S. soon.

Hyundai has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. We are talking about the Veloster Rally Edition which has been based on the Veloster Turbo R-Spec and it has received features such as the Matte Blue exterior, the black finish on the 18-inch lightweight RAYS wheels or the special badging, amongst others.

“New for 2016, the Veloster Rally Edition leverages the street credibility established by the Turbo R-Spec model. It features a higher performance tune for the springs, dampers, and front stabilizer bar, for even more responsive and precise handling capabilities”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.

The new Hyundai Veloster Rally Edition has some limited interior changes too which include the black leather sport seats with blue accents, the embroidered floor mats and so on. As far as the engine goes, power is being provided by the 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, which is capable of producing a total of 201 HP (150 kW) and a peak torque of 264 Nm (195 lb-ft). The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission with the B&M Racing Sport Shifter. Hyundai hasn’t announced any performance specifications or pricing details but we do know that the Veloster Rally Edition will be limited to just 1,200 units. More info on the car is limited at this time.
