The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently announced that the Veloster SR Turbo has been launched in Australia.
After it was officially unveiled earlier this year, the new Hyundai Veloster Turbo is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer announcing its launch in Australia. According to the company, the Hyundai Veloster SR Turbo has been priced at 31,990 AUD for the base entry-level version, equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, while the six-speed automatic gearbox will set you back for 33,990 AUD.
Hyundai says that all versions of the Veloster SR Turbo get standard features such as a 7-inch LCD infotainment and navigation, panoramic roof, leather seats, daytime running lights, stiffer dampers, bigger brakes, chrome inserts, twin exhaust tips and a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels. We mustn’t forget that the Veloster Turbo is the first ever model made by this company to be offered with a matte grey paint.
Power to the Hyundai Veloster SR Turbo is being provided by the 1.6 liter Gamma turbocharged direct injection engine, which is developing a total output of 150 kW and 265 Nm of torque. This means 40 percent increase in HP and 60 percent increase in torque when compared to the standard Veloster model.
