Hyundai has recently announced that the Veloster Turbo has been launched in the United Kingdom, where the model has a base starting price of 21, 995 pounds for the entry-level version.
According to the South Korean based automaker, the Hyundai Veloster Turbo will be available for its future customers in the United Kingdom starting with the 24th of September but before being able to get their hands on the model, future owners will have to pay at least 21,995 pounds, which is the starting price of the vehicle.
The Hyundai Veloster Turbo is coming with a 1.6 liter T-GDI engine, fitted with a high compression and a twin-scroll turbocharger, which is developing a total output of 184 horsepower (186 PS / 137 kW) and it has a peak torque of 265 Nm (195 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission which is helping the coupe accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 133 mph (214 km/h). The model is emitting 157 g/km of CO2 and it’s returning 40,9 mpg UK in a combined cycle.
The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo is getting a choice of three colors, the Matt Grey, the White Crystal Solid and the Phantom Black Pearl, along with features like the chrome inserts, leather seats, updated 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer, 7-inch touch screen sat-nav or the 18-inch alloy wheels.
