“The new Veloster will bring added emotional appeal to the Hyundai brand. It showcases a sleek and distinctive design in an innovative three-door coupe form that provides practicality and individuality as well as dynamic performance. It offers a bold new color palette and with the choice of bigger wheels with color inserts, panoramic sunroof and the option of red leather interior on the higher Sport trim level, customers can stand out from the crowd. We expect the Veloster’s unique combination to re-shape its segment and attract new buyers to the brand”, said the Hyundai Motor UK managing director, Tony Whitehorn.
According to the Japanese automaker, the UK Veloster is powered by the 1.6 liter naturally aspirated direct-injection engine which is developing 140 horsepower which can be mated to a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch transmission.
Hyundai says that the Blue Drive version, priced at £18.345, comes with the Stop & Go technology and low rolling resistance tires which add up to the average fuel consumption, 47.9 mpg, and the low CO2 emissions, 137 g/km.
The new Hyundai Veloster is available in UK with standard features like the 7 inch touch screen media center, Bluetooth Connectivity with voice recognition, air conditioning, front and rear fog lights, LED Daytime running lights, reversing sensors and 17 inch alloy wheels.
The US version of the Hyundai Veloster costs just 17.300 USD which translates to £10.925. You can find out more about the over-seas Veloster here and you can also watch the banned commercial of the vehicle here. Enjoy!
