The Italian design company Icona has recently announced its plans to introduce the Vulcano supercar at London’s Salon Prive, in September.
After it was officially unveiled just a few months ago, the Icona Vulcano supercar is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company announcing its arrival at the Salon Prive, in September. According to Icona, the Vulcano is a one-off supercar, dsigned by Samuel Chuffart, a French designer, who has previously worked with Nissan and Jaguar-Land Rover. The design of the supercar is inspired from the company’s first car, the Fuselage, unveiled a couple of years ago.
“Icona is a very exciting new brand and we are delighted that it has chosen Salon Privé for the UK debut of the Vulcano. It’s a beautiful car and it is going to look fantastic within the concepts & prototypes display”, said David Bagley, the sales director for Salon Prive.
As a quick reminder, the Icona Vulcano is coming with a V12 hybrid powertrain, which is producing a total output of 950 HP. This has been engineered by Claudio Lombardi, the Scuderia Ferrari technical director. The 0 to 120 mph sprint in the Icona Vulcano is done in just 9 seconds and top speed stands at 217 mph. The Icona Vulcano costs 1,9 million GBP.
