BMW has revealed last week the next generation of its 1 Series premium compact hatchback. Moreover, today we have first images showing the 2012 1 Series (F20) with the M-Sport package!
Like bmwblog said, probably the most striking feature of the M-Sport 1er will be the addition of Estoril Blue Metallic as a new color option. This will not be available on non M-Sport equipped vehicles.
The M-Sport package consists of all new bumpers and sills with new M light alloy wheels in either 17″ or 18″. The chrome trim is replaced by high-gloss Shadow Line trim.
Inside the package comes with M leather multifunction steering wheel, nappa leather clad e-brake handle and gear shifter.
As about its engines – all of the 1-Series’ powerplants will be turbocharged. You can choose from a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine – which you’ll get in the 116i and 118i – and the 2.0-litre turbodiesel finds itself in the 116d, 118d and 120d. All of which will be available from its launch in September.
