The Holly refinery in Tulsa is on fire. The flames could be seen from several miles away Thursday morning when a tanker was reported to be on fire.
Neighbors in the area of the refinery just west of the Arkansas River were standing outside their homes and watching the flames rise into the air.
There are no reports of injury for the moment.
Right now Tulsa Fire Department crews are on standby, while firefighters employed by the refinery work to put out the fire.
The HollyFrontier Corporation that controls the refinery has primary refining operations in New Mexico and Utah.
