Impressive Sales for the New BMW M5 in Malaysia

Launched on January 11th, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the new BMW M5 made such a good impression that 30 units were ordered within 5 weeks in Malaysia.

This impressive sedan combines the potential and practicability of a luxurious business sedan, featuring high-revving 4.4-liter V8 engine with an M TwinPower Turbo package capable of an outstanding 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 502 lb-ft from 1,500 rpm. The car takes 4.4 seconds from 0 to 60 mph, and can hit a breathtaking top speed of 190 mph. the fuel economy is estimated at about 28.5 mpg, 30% less fuel burned that its predecessor.

The BMW M5 comes with the standard two M Drive buttons, which allow the driver to choose different car set-ups for various driving situations: the M1 button offers a sporty configuration, while the M2 gives a comfort-biased set-up. Other features include the auto stop-start function and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is a no-cost alternative to the 7-speed M-Double Clutch Transmission. The new BMW M5 is offered through the BMW Individual personalization program, with an exclusive Frozen Black finish.
