Chevrolet has recently announced 7, 000 bookings for the new Sail in India, received in just a couple of months since it was launched.
After it was officially unveiled back in January, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, and then launched in India, the Chevrolet Sail is no entering our news once again, this time with an announcement made by the company. According to the carmaker, 7,000 units of the Chevrolet Sail have been ordered until now in just two months since the model first made its way onto the Indian auto market, at the beginning of February.
As a quick reminder, the cheapest version of the Chevrolet Sail is available from Rs. 4,99 lakhs, the LS starts at Rs. 5.49 lakhs, the LS ABS is coming from 5.70 lakhs and the LT ABS starts at Rs. 6.41 lakhs. If diesel is what you’re looking for, you should get ready to pay Rs 6.29 lakhs for the base, Rs. 6.59 lakhs for the LS and Rs. 6.80 lakhs for the LS ABS. The LT ABS top of the line is available from Rs. 7.51 lakhs with a diesel engine. The Sail is offered with a 3-year / 100,000 km standard warranty and it’s exported form China.
