The German based automaker BMW has recently announced its plans to introduce the facelifted version of the X1 in India, on the 14th of February.

After it was officially presented to the public back in April 2012, during the New York Auto Show, the BMW X1 facelift is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its arrival to India. According to the car manufacturer, the facelifted BMW X1 is coming with some minor tweaks, which include the silver accents, the headlamp elements, the redesigned front bumper, the side mirrors, the new side sills, the larger diffuser in the rear and more.

The interior design of the facelifted BMW X1 hasn’t been left aside unchanged either by the car manufacturer and this is now getting silver inserts on the wheel, chrome accents on the air vents, a redesigned center console and much more. No performance details have been announced on the BMW X1 facelift aimed towards India just yet, but rumors are saying that the model will get an eight-speed automatic transmission, shared with the 3-Series. Additional details on the 2013 BMW X1 in India will be announced close to its launch.
