India: Ford EcoSport to be unveiled at Mumbai shopping mall this weekend
The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced its plans to introduce the new EcoSport to India, where the model will be on display this weekend, at a shopping mall in Mumbai.
After it was caught on camera while being tested on public roads across India over these past few months, the Ford EcoSport is now getting ready to become available to its future customers in the Asian country. According to the car manufacturer, the brand new Ford EcoSport, aimed towards the Indian market, will be officially presented to the public this weekend, in Mumbai, at Infinity Mall.
No technical details on the Indian Ford EcoSport have been announced just yet but the European version of the model is coming with a 1.0 liter EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, with 125 PS, with a 1.5 liter petrol generating 110 PS and with a 1.5 liter diesel unit, producing 90 PS. The Ford EcoSport is a B-segment crossover which is going on sale against models like the Nissan Juke, Opel / Vauxhall Mokka, Chevrolet Trax, Peugeot 2008 or Renault Captur. The EcoSport will also go on sale in Europe by the end of the year.
