The Audi Q3 Sport, produced in India, has been recently priced at INR 24.99 lakhs in the Asian country.
According to the car manufacturer, the Indian made Audi Q3 Sport will go on sale with a single engine option. The model will receive a 2.0 liter TDI diesel unit, the same one found on the outgoing Q3, which has been detuned and it’s now producing a total output of 140 HP and it has 32.6 kgm of torque. The model will also drop the Quattro all-wheel drive for a front-wheel drive layout and the 7-speed DSG will be “transformed” into a 6-speed manual transmission.
With these changes, the Audi Q3 Sport, produced in India, will weigh 140 kg less so the performance will not be affected that much. The model will receive goodies like the rearview camera, electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats, Xenon headlights, daytime running lights and more. In India, the Audi Q3 Sport has been aimed towards the BMW 1-Series, the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the Volvo V40 Cross Country and even at the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The first units of the model will arrive next month.
