Volkswagen is planning to launch the Polo GT in India on the 25th of April, one of the most interesting hatchbacks on sale locally.
The announcement hasn’t been made officially but according to the guys at Autocar India, the new Volkswagen Polo GT will make its way onto the Indian auto market on the 25th of April. The model will get an aerodynamic body kit, made out of the front side and rear skirts, along with the rear spoiler. The VW Polo GT will also receive a chrome exhaust tip, 15-inch alloy wheels, brushed aluminum pedals and upgraded materials used throughout the cabin.
The most important feature of the Volkswagen Polo GT is found under its hood, where the 1.2 liter TSI engine is resting. This can produce a total output of 105 BHP and 175 Nm of torque, and it’s mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission only. No manual version is available and no steering wheel paddle shifters will be mounted. Additional details on the Volkswagen Polo GT aimed towards India are limited for the moment and will be announced once the model will be launched.
