Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti will be launched in Brazil in 2014, when a few models signed by the automaker will arrive in the South American country.
Good news for people living in Brazil who will be able to buy Infiniti cars over the following two years, because the Japanese based automaker has announced that the brand will be launched in the South American country in 2014, and the first Infiniti Centres will be opened in Sao Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro.
“By 2014, premium vehicles with a unique combination of inspired performance, attentive hospitality and unparalleled quality will become a reality for the Brazilian market. We are delighted to enter Brazil as we know discerning customers there are very receptive to premium brands”, said the President of Infiniti, Johan de Nysschen.
Even if Nissan has created Infiniti back in 1989 in order to suit the needs of North American consumers, the Japanese based automaker has expanded the brand in a lot of markets worldwide which currently includes a list of 47 countries around the globe. Only in 2012, Infiniti was launched in Australia, South Africa, Chile, Singapore and the Dominican Republic, and in early 2013, the brand will arrive in Hong Kong too. The first models to arrive in Brazil will be the seven-seater JX, the FX crossover and the next G-Series.
