The Japanese based automaker Infiniti has recently announced that the FX Sebastian Vettel special edition will hit the production line.
After being officially previewed back in late 2011, the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel special edition is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the Nissan luxury brand announcing its production. According to the car manufacturer, the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel edition will come with an aggressive body kit, just like the concept car, along with a sport-tuned suspension, which will reduce the crossover’s height, and lightweight components.
“The production version will match the 420PS output of the concept car making it the most powerful Infiniti yet to be sold by the European business unit. Although no price is available yet, it will also be the most expensive”, as the automaker says in its official press release.
Just like the manufacturer says, the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel special edition will be powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine which is developing 414 horsepower (420 PS), allowing the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Production of the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel special edition will be limited to 200 units and the model will only be offered in Europe and in the Middle East.
