Infiniti continued the strip tease of the new JX 7 -Seat crossover today with a another photo.
According to the automaker, the new Infiniti JX is slated to be a 7-passenger crossover officially revealed in the flesh at the upcoming 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18th.
For the production version, Infiniti says it will release a new image every Thursday (US time) on its Facebook page as part of its ‘Power of 7′ campaign.
“Families don’t have many luxury vehicle options today. The new InfinitiJX will be the seven-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now,” Infiniti boss Ben Poore said.
The image shows the car’s front headlight and some of the side design. It follows similar design themes to what we’ve seen from Infiniti recently, and that is a good thing; it should be a sculpted design that is different from the norm in the segment.
In other news, Nissan’s luxury brand is also reportedly working on a another new concept that will join the JX and fight against the likes of Audi A3 and Lexus CT 200h. Likely to be based on the Etherea concept, it is expected to first show its face in Frankfurt this fall.
