Infiniti has officially pulled the wraps off the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept, ahead of its public debut scheduled later on this month, during the 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit.
The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept can finally be seen for the first time ever as the Japanese based automaker has released the first image with the “final” product. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has received an F1 inspired exterior and it has been equipped with a lot of carbon fiber components, including the front splitter, the roof, mirror caps, side skirts and rear diffuser.
“From our shared passion for performance with Infiniti Red Bull Racing grew a collective desire to produce a vision of what a high-performance Infiniti Q50 could look like. The design has a number of distinctive Formula One inspired touches. In particular, the sculpted front wing assembly and the rear aerodynamic packaging take their cues from the RB9 race car”, said Alfonso Albaisa, the company’s executive design director.
Other goodies found on the brand new Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept include the rear spoiler, the ventilated hood, the sports exhaust system and the 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels. More details on the vehicle will be announced once it will make its public debut, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, on the 14th of January.
