Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti has recently announced the official price list for the brand new Q50 in the United Kingdom, where the model starts at 27,950 GBP.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the cheapest version of the Infiniti Q50 is equipped with the 2.2 liter diesel unit and it will set you back for 27,950 GBP. The model in question is still cheaper than one of its main rivals, the BMW 320, which has been priced from 28,410 GBP and even than the Lexus IS 300h, which costs 29,495 GBP across the country. The model is less powerful than the BMW, at 168 HP, but it’s emitting 5 g/km of CO2 less than the German car.
The flagship 3.5 liter Direct Response Hybrid, with its 3.5 liter unit producing a total output of 359 HP, will set you back for at least 40,000 GBP. This version is able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.3 seconds, an identical time to that of the BMW 3-Series ActiveHybrid, but it’s no match for the CO2 emissions of the BMW. Infiniti says that standard features found on the new Q50 include the rearview camera, dual zone climate control, active noise cancelling, stop start and 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
