Infiniti and Bose have teamed up in order to create a special edition of the Q50.
The model in question has been named the Infiniti Q50 Sound Studio by Bose and it is bringing a 14-speaker Bose audio, along with a DAB receiver and a GPS navigation system. This is the first vehicle to get the Bose Advanced Staging Technology and it will also be getting the Bose AudioPilot2 Noise Compensation Technology which is monitoring and adjusting the music levels constantly in order to compensate for sound intrusions or vehicle speed.
“The ultimate music lovers’ version of the car combines several state-of-the-art features to offer an unrivalled listening experience for driver and passengers alike. Moreover, by coupling the standard Bose Surround Sound system with the latest DAB receiver even digital radio broadcasts can be enjoyed with the full power and richness of Bose technology”, says the automaker in its press release.
The Infiniti Q50 Sound Studio by Bose Special Edition is going to be offered with two different engines. The first one will be the 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol burner, producing 210 HP (155 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while the second one will be a 2.2 liter four-cylinder diesel, with 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The vehicle will be making its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in just a day, and it will be offered for sale in October. Prices will start from 32,390 GBP.
