Our spy photographers have managed to capture the brand new Infiniti QX30 on camera for the first time ever.
Nissan’s luxury brand has been rumored to plan a compact crossover for quite some time now and it seems that development is more advanced than originally believed. The images posted below are depicting a test mule of the so-called Infiniti QX30, a compact premium crossover which will have the tough job of going against models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the BMW X1 or the Audi Q3, despite sharing the platform and some engines with one of its rivals.
The future Infiniti QX30 will be riding on the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz GLA / A-Class / CLA and it will get some common engines too. The design will be different however and it will look like a smaller version of the QX50. The compact premium crossover, which will be signed by Infiniti, is believed to be officially introduced sometimes next year, during a major international automotive event like Geneva, in March, or even Frankfurt, in September. More details on it are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its public debut. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the spy photos posted below.
