Infiniti has added an updated version of its QX50 crossover for the Chinese automotive market which has received some interesting tweaks.
Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti is getting ready to introduce an updated version of the QX50 in China. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has received an increased wheelbase, as it is well known that Chinese are into the extra rear legroom. The crossover, which was formerly known as the EX, is now coming with an 80 mm longer wheelbase, along with several other tweaks which should help it differentiate once it will go official on the world’s largest car market.
This version of the Infiniti QX50 will be exclusively sold in China and it will also come with a naw front grille, with sharper headlights, with standard LED daytime running lights, with a different front bumper, a full panoramic glass roof, an automatically opening and closing tailgate hatch and so on. The Infiniti QX50 LWB will come with the same powertrain options as the standard version in the Asian country, which will include the 232 HP 2.5 liter V6, offered in RWD and AWD, along with the 3.7 liter V6, with 346 HP. The vehicle will be officially presented to the public at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show.
