The Japanese automaker has revealed ahead of next month’s Paris Motor Show official public premiere the Europe-bound QX70S Design limited edition.
The new special S Design series aims to add some dynamic prowess to the elegant QX70 flagship full-size luxury crossover, aiming to mirror some of the appeal of a true sports car.
Dark chrome is the epitome of the S Design edition, featuring the designer’s touch for a more bespoke appearance. The material has been used for the SUV’s grille, foglight surrounds, side air scoops, side sills and rear number plate surround. There’s also a new smoked finish for the headlights, and the S Design edition features all new 21-inch six-spoke alloys finished in black, matching the blacked out roof rails and mirrors.
The interior has been treated with the same level of attention, with black lacquer finish on the centre console and purple stitching for seats, steering, wheel, armrest and door trims garnishing the passenger cabin. The S Design also features as standard the S-Premium trim, adding further luxury touches.
The powertrain options remain unchanged, with the QX70 featuring a range of V6 engines, in both petrol and diesel form – and immediately after the Paris Motor Show launch the S Design edition will be available in selected Western European markets.
