Infiniti Skyline 200GT-t introduced to Japan image

Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the Skyline 200GT-t, on its local auto market, which will go on sale next week.

The brand new Infiniti Skyline 200GT-t is now getting a rive mode selector, a modified rear suspension system, an optional Direct Adaptive Steering system and a Mercedes-Benz sourced engine. The unit has been equipped with variable valve timing, with direct injection and start / stop technology. Thanks to these modifications, the car is able to burn 7.3 L / 100 km of fuel (38.4 mpg UK / 31.9 mpg US).

“Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the New Skyline 200GT-t (the next-generation turbo model) with a high-power, fuel-efficient lightweight turbocharged gasoline engine with maximum power output of 155kW?(211ps), which goes on sale on June 5, 2014 at Nissan dealers throughout Japan”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The Infiniti Skyline 200GT-t is taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit. This is producing a total output of 211 HP (155 kW) and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The company declined to go into performance specifics. The model in question will start at 3,834,000 Yen, including tax, and the company is expecting to sell 200 units monthly. The vehicle will go on sale on the 5th of June.
