The Japanese luxury automaker has announced the approaching reveal of the QX Sport Inspiration concept via a teaser, with the model set to debut on April 25 during the Beijing Motor Show.
The prototype will depict the latest evolution of the marque’s “Powerful Elegance” design philosophy and from the shadowy picture we can make out a bold stance with muscular and an imposing wide grille. There are also subtle full LED headlight with an interesting design that seem inspired by eye lashes – while the massive front fender puts an emphasize on the muscular look of the midsize SUV. Other noticeable highlights include the side cameras that are used in lieu of the conventional mirrors, the sculpted hood and vented front bumper. Since we’re dealing with a prototype the wheels appear to be quite big and some plastic body cladding may imply the vehicle could be a capable mild off-roader.
Infiniti added the concept uses floating A-pillars and big, muscular shoulders that fall in line with the Q60 concept’s styling. More details will be revealed once the model receives its world premiere in Beijing but we’re most likely looking at the preview for the next-generation QX70, which is due for a replacement since the current version is already eight years old. Most likely the production series all-new QX70 will be presented sometimes next year and come to market towards the end as a 2018 model year.
