Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti is currently teasing out a brand new model, called the ESQ, which is basically the company’s own version of the Juke.
Did you ever wonder what a Nissan Juke with premium touches will look like? Well Infiniti has and it is getting ready to introduce such a model on the Chinese auto market. The vehicle in question is named the Infiniti ESQ and it is a small crossover which has been updated but underneath its fancy materials this remains just a rebadged Nissan Juke. It is unknown whether this will be eventually offered in other markets and even on the Old Continent, but never say never.
The brand new Infiniti ESQ is coming with a new front grille, with new accents added to the exterior and to the cabin, new 18-inch wheels and a new steering wheel, which is wearing the Infiniti badge. Rumors are saying that the model in question will be coming with Nissan’s 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, used on the Juke, which is producing a total output of 197 HP. The unit is connected to a standard CVT, which is sending power to the all-wheel drive version. More details on it will be announced soon.
