The Japanese luxury automaker is enlisting the talented sportsman – nicknamed “baby-faced assassin” because he’s considered the best shooter in the game – to help promote the recently updated Q50 sport sedan.
As we all know it, with hard work and sometimes a dose of talent, good things do come. For example Stephen Curry, the 29-year old NBA pro, revered as the best shooter in the game by experts and superstars has of course lots of talent – but has also worked seriously to get that far into the game. He already has four NBA all-star games under his belt and took the league MVP honor twice. And he also won his second NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors. Which is probably why Infiniti wants to use his stardom for promotional purposes.
“Stephen Curry’s drive to continue to set new benchmarks both on and off the court is an ideal parallel to the attributes of the Infiniti brand. Just like Infiniti he never stops pushing himself,” said Infiniti Chairman and Global President Roland Krueger. Curry’s first duty as Infiniti’s ambassador will come later this summer during the introduction campaign for the Q50 sport sedan – probably getting one of his own in the process.
