The aftermarket specialists from Irmscher have officially pulled the wraps off their newest creation up to date, the Insignia is3 Bandit.

Irmscher hasn’t missed out the chance of displaying its newest creation at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question has been called the Insignia is3 Bandit and, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, it has been based on the Opel Insignia. The vehicle has received a sporty body kit which is made out of the front spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts and tailgate mounted spoiler.

“This extraordinary vehicle is planned as Irmscher special model and should be available for purchase from the end of 2015 through the dealership Köstner and Irmscher. Customers can choose between complete vehicles and the subsequent reconstruction”, says the tuner in its press release.

Completing the looks of the wagon is a set of 20-inch alloy wheels, the Turbo Star. Under its hood, the Irmscher Insignia is3 Bandit is making use of a 2.8 liter V6 engine, which has been equipped with an upgraded turbocharger, an improved cooling system and a revised intake. Thanks to these goodies, the unit is now capable of putting down an impressive 365 HP (279 kW) and a peak torque of 600 Nm (442 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 5.9 seconds. As we’ve mentioned above, the vehicle will become available for order by the end of this year but customers will also be able to get it as a tuning package as well. No pricing details have been released yet.
