It has nothing to do with Mad Max despite the Fury moniker and it has been recently introduced to the United Kingdom.
We’re talking about the new Isuzu D-Max Fury which has been based on the D-Max Eiger double-cab. The model in question is now bringing a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, finished in grey, along with the gun metal grey side steps, the red Isuzu logo, the dark metallic grille and the Magma Red metallic finish for its exterior design.
William Brown, General Manager at Isuzu UK, said: “We are confident the Fury will further widen the appeal of the D-Max which already has one of the widest choices of model of any pickup in the UK. The Fury has been designed for those seeking an affordable pick-up with stand-out appeal. It’s certainly a head-turner and, alongside the Blade and rest of the D-Max range, will meet the growing demand for a stylish vehicle which can be used for both work and recreation.”
The interior of the new Isuzu D-Max Fury is coming with the leather wrapped steering wheel, the special floor mats, the red contrast stitching, the rearview camera, air conditioning, USB / AUX / Bluetooth connectivity and a four-speaker audio system. Under its hood, the 2.5 liter twin turbo diesel engine can be found, producing 160 HP (120 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, connectable to a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. 4WD is offered as standard. The model will be going on sale this September and it will start from 19,999 GBP.
