Italian Carabinieri adopt Lotus Evora S image

The division of the Italian army, Arma dei Carabinieri, which plays a similar role as the Scotland Yard in the UK, recently adopted two Lotus Evora S cars.

In a celebration of Italy’s 150 years of unification and Lotus’s cooperation with the country, two Evora S models have been handed over to the Carabinieri by the Chief Executive Office of Lotus Group, Dany Bahar. “We are extremely proud to be working with such an iconic and professional organization as the Carabinieri who play an integral role in Italian society”, said the Lotus Group official.

“Everyone knows that Italy has more than its fair share of high profile sports car manufacturers so it is a real honor for a relatively small British brand to be in this position. The feedback from the driver training on the Evora S at our test track was very positive, it’s such a responsive car to drive, I think the teams in Rome and Milan are really going to feel the benefit of working with our product”, added Dany Bahar.

The Lotus Evora S comes in standard with the 3.5 liter V6engine, which develops 345 HP. Thanks to the supercharged engine, the car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds
