The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently announced the official starting price for the Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio in Italy, which has been set at 32, 100 euros.

After starting its life as a simple rumor and being presented not too long ago, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the company announcing its official starting price for Italy. According to the car manufacturer, the typical features of the GTI are making their way onto the Cabrio version, starting with the honeycomb structure, the red detailing and ending with the GTI bumpers, radiator grille and let’s not forget the 17-inch Denver alloy wheels.

Volkswagen says that the Golf GTI Cabrio is powered by the same engine as the regular GTI, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo unit with direct injection, which is developing a total output of 210 horsepower between 5,300 and 6,200 rpm, with a peak torque of 280 Nm available between 1,700 and 5,200 rpm. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 237 km/h with the DSG transmission. The model is emitting 177 g/km of CO2 and it’s burning 7.6 liters of fuel every 100 km in an average cycle.
