The 2014 Ford Fiesta has been recently unveiled by the North American based automaker revealing new lines and a design similar to the one used on the new Fusion (Mondeo).
As you can see from the images posted below, the 2014 Ford Fiesta is getting a front fascia similar to the one used on the new Ford Fusion, or Mondeo as it is known in Europe, and its face is dominated by a trapezoidal front grille which, even if the carmaker says it’s unique, we still think that it was inspired from the Aston Martin.
“Fiesta has been one of the world’s best-loved small cars across five decades, and the sporty appeal of the last generation Fiesta inspired real passion among global compact car customers, contributing to its status as the world’s most successful small car. We had to keep that vital part of Fiesta’s make-up – but we also wanted to give it a more sophisticated look”, said the Ford of Europe executive design director, Martin Smith.
Ford says that the 2014 Fiesta is coming with some interesting technologies, including the Active City Stop, the voice activated in-car connectivity system Ford SYNC, the MyKey system (European debut), Bluetooth, USB, Emergency Assistance and a lot more items which will make life easier for future owners of the new Fiesta.
