It’s official – 2015 Ford Mustang to be unveiled on December 5 image

The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced its plans to officially pull the wraps off the new Mustang generation next month, on the 5th of December.

The official announcement saying that the new Ford Mustang generation will be unveiled on the 5th of December, this year, is putting an end to a lot of speculations which were saying that the muscle car will see daylight, in an official way, next January, during the 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit. The announcement has been made through the official Mustang YouTube account and the sixth generation of the Ford Mustang will be unveiled on December 5, ahead of its public debut which will be made in Detroit, one month later.

The 2015 Ford Mustang will take some styling cues from the Evos Concept and we should see the flowing roofline, the prominent front grille, slender headlights, new taillights, integrated spoiler and more. The cabin of the muscle car will get the MyFord Touch infotainment system, higher quality materials, a three-spoke steering wheel and metallic trim. The engine lineup will include, for the first time in history, a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, with 275 HP. The muscle car will also receive a 305 HP (227 kW) 3.7L V6 and a 420 HP (313 kW) 5.0L V8.
