It’s official – BMW i3 gets priced image

The German based automaker BMW has recently announced the official starting price of the brand new i3 electric vehicle, which will go on sale in the U.S. from $41, 350 before federal or state incentives.

BMW has recently announced the official starting price of the brand new i3 in the U.S., where the model will set you back for 41,350 USD, before any federal or state incentives. The destination and handling fee of the car stands at 925 USD. On the Old Continent (Germany), the model has been priced from 34,950 euros, VAT included, where it will become available to its future customers starting from November, this year.

The new BMW i3 is coming with a 170 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque hybrid synchronous electric motor, which has been developed and produced by the carmaker. This is backed up by a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is offering it a range of 8- miles. The BMW i3 is coming with an aluminum chassis and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) passenger cell mounted on top of it. Additional details on the model will be announced on the 29th of July, when it will be officially unveiled at three simultaneous events, held in London, New York and Beijing.
