Lamborghini has officially announced its plans to officially pull the wraps off the new Aventador Super Veloce Roadster, on the 14th of August.
After the new Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce has been introduced just earlier this year and sold out at this point, time has come for the Sant’Agata Bolognese based car manufacturer to announced the debut of the drop-top variant. The model in question will be officially unveiled on the 14th of August, at a press conference at “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering”, where the first details on its specifications, pricing and availability will be announced.
“Automobili Lamborghini will present the global unveiling of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster during a press conference at “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering” on Friday, August 14 at 10 a.m.”, said the automaker in its official press release.
Expect the same features added to the body and in its cabin as the same ones found on the coupe. The new Aventador SV Roadster will also be making use of the same 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, rated at 750 HP (552 kW) and 690 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque, which is allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Just 500 examples of the Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce Roadster are planned and expect them to be pricier than the solid roof version, which came from 327,190 EUR, in Europe, and 493,069 USD in the United States.
