It’s official: Meet the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA

The brand new 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA has been officially unveiled ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Detroit Motor Show on January 14.

After it was previewed by the Concept Style Coupe almost a year ago, the final production version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA is now here and it’s getting closer and closer to its future customers. The elegant small four-door coupe has been officially unveiled ahead of its public debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, on the 14th of January. The Mercedes-Benz CLA is 182.3 inches long, 80.0 inches wide and 56.6 inches tall and its cabin is heavily influenced by the new A-Class generation.

Inside the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA we can find a 5.8-inch display, the mbrace2 connectivity system, the optional panorama roof, the Multimedia package, which is adding the GPS navigation and the COMMAND infotainment system, the Premium package, coming with heated front seats, Harman / Kardon audio system and dual-zone climate control along with silver accents, black trim and much more. The new CLA is riding on the MFA platform and in the U.S. it will get a 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 208 BHP (155 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission powering the optional all-wheel drive system. The CLA will go on sale over-seas in September. More details on the model will be announced close to its launch.
