The British based automaker Jaguar has finally pulled the wraps off the all-new XFR-S, ahead of the model’s official debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S has started its public life a few months ago in spy photos and rumors and now the model is finally here, getting ready for its future customers, with a first step being taken into this direction by releasing the very first details and images with the sedan ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Jaguar XFR-S is coming with the recalibrated Electronic Active Differential and Dynamic Stability Control system and with wider 20-inch Varuna forged alloy wheels.
The Jaguar XFR-S is powered by the same 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine used in the XKR-S, which is producing a total output of 542 horsepower (405 kW) and 680 Nm of torque (502 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission with Quickshift, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The estimated EPA stands at 15 / 23 / 18 mpg in city / highway combined and the CO2 emissions stop at 270 g/km. The Jaguar XFR-S will go on sale in mid-2013 from 99,000 USD.
