It’s official: Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG to be unveiled in New York
Mercedes-Benz has officially announced its plans to introduce the CLA45 AMG during the 2013 New York Auto Show this March.
After being teased and spied a few times, the brand new Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is now getting ready to make its public debut, which has been scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show. According to the German based automaker, the high performance version of the elegant small four-door coupe will be officially unveiled next month, during the North American automotive event.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is coming with the same sloping roof line as its larger brother, the CLS, and it’s riding on the same flexible platform used on the new A-Class and B-Class. The model will be powered by the same engine found on the A45 AMG, the 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 354 HP and 450 Nm of torque. The unit will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 New York Auto Show next month.
