Nissan has officially announced its plans to introduce the brand new Murano generation next week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
After being caught on camera several times until now by our spy photographers, and with its smaller brothers being already updated, time has come for the Nissan Murano to receive a new generation. The third generation of the Nissan Murano will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, as the company has already announced. This is expected to be taking its looks from the Resonance concept, but the front fascia of the model will look very similar to the one of the new Qashqai generation.
The 2015 Nissan Murano will be riding on the same architecture as the Altima and it will be keeping its dimensions close to the outgoing version. As far as the engine lineup goes, an updated 3.5 liter V6 unit, mated to a CVT is expected to make its way under its hood, along with the 2.5 liter supercharged engine, working together with an electric motor to provide 250 HP (186 kW) and 329 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque. The Murano CrossCabrio has been axed, happily, for this new generation. More details on the 2015 Nissan Murano will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
