Jaguar has brought its SUV concept, the C-X17, to the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show too, where the model has made its local debut.
After officially unveiling it earlier this year and then bringing to the Dubai Motor Show and to the Los Angeles Auto Show, the British based automaker Jaguar has decided to introduced the new C-X17 Concept to the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show. The model in question has received a new paint and it’s now coming in a five-seat configuration, offering a better preview into what the final production version of the SUV might look like.
“New ultra-luxurious, five-seater version of C-X17 debuts at 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, further highlighting the versatility of Jaguar’s sports crossover concept for the urban environment”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The new Jaguar C-X17 Concept is riding on the same iQ[AI] platform which is made mostly of aluminum and chances are that the final production version of the model will use a variety of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. A hybrid and a plug-in hybrid version of the Jaguar SUV is also a possibility once the model will hit the market in 2015 or 2016. Additional details on the final production of the British SUV are limited for the moment.
