Jaguar has added a new livery for the F-Pace SUV in order to celebrate the Tour de France win of Team Sky.
We all know that the Jaguar F-Pace is close to hitting the market, in its final form, but the carmaker has offered us a preview of its first SUV during the 2015 Tour de France, as a prototype was used by Team Sky, as a support vehicle, for the Stage 1 in Utrecht. Now, with Chris Froome and his teammates being ahead in the General Classification by 1 minute and 12 seconds, the carmaker has celebrated the event with a special livery of the model.
“It’s a privilege to celebrate a third Tour de France victory with Team Sky. It’s a magnificent British sporting story, and Jaguar has been delighted to play their part in contributed towards the team’s success. We congratulate Chris Froome and the rest of the team on an outstanding victory”, said the Jaguar Land Rover Global Brand Marketing Director, Mark Cameron.
The final production version of the Jaguar F-Pace will be aimed towards the Porsche Macan. The model in question will be offered at first in an S variant, getting a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine, with 340 HP, and later on, the SVR version will be added to the lineup, with its supercharged V8, producing 550 HP. Over the next years, four-cylinder gasoline and diesel burners will be introduced too, along with an electric version.
