The brand new Jaguar F-Pace premium SUV will be officially presented to the public this September, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a world premiere.
Jaguar is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off its first ever SUV, the so-called F-Pace. The development of such a model is no surprise anymore but it seems that this will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, for the very first time. The British brand hasn’t made the announcement official at the time but according to the guys from Autocar, the near-production variant of the vehicle has been already caught on camera. Our source is also stating that the model will be offered for sale in 2016 and this means that it will come out as a 2017 model year.
The new Jaguar F-Pace is expected to get a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine under its hood, which should become the most powerful variant of the premium SUV. However, we don’t rule out a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 petrol burner either which is also used on may high-performance vehicles coming from Jaguar. The new four-cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel burners are also expected to be introduced on the F-Pace too. The new Jaguar F-Pace will be the production version of the C-X17 Concept, which has been officially presented to the public at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model was using a modular and scalable platform and this was instantly recognizable. Details on its final production variant are limited at this time.
