The brand new Jaguar F-Type is getting ready to be launched on the Indian sub-continent over the following weeks.
The announcement has been made by the Indian automotive media after a quick chat with Del Sehmar, the Jaguar Land Rover India spokesman. According to the guys at Indian Autos Blog, the new Jaguar F-Type will arrive in the Asian country in the following weeks. The model will not receive the base entry-level version with the 340 HP V6 engine, but it will get the other two versions, the 380 HP V6 and the 495 HP 5.0 liter V8.
As a quick reminder, the Jaguar F-Type, in its final production version, has been officially unveiled back in 2012. The model is available in three versions, the F-Type, the F-Type S and the F-Type V8, with the cheapest one being priced at 58,500 GBP in the United Kingdom. The F-Type is powered by a 3.0 liter engine, producing 340 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque. The F-Type S is getting the same engine, but with 380 HP, while the top of the line is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which is good for 495 HP and 460 Nm of torque. This will set you back for 79,950 GBP.
