The British based automaker Jaguar has officially announced the implementation of an all-wheel drive system for the F-Type range.
The Jaguar F-Type is close to getting an all-wheel drive system. The announcement has been made officially by the car manufacturer and the model in question will be presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The company also said that the model family will be expanded next year from 6 to 14 members and this means that we can see a version equipped with a manual transmission and also a new entry-level, coming with a four-cylinder engine under its hood.
The addition of an all-wheel drive variant of the Jaguar F-Type means that the vehicle in question will suddenly become interesting to people living in countries where a real winter kicks in at least once a year. As far as the engine lineup goes, Jaguar hasn’t made any official statements but most likely all the units will be carried over from the coupe and the roadster so we will see the same 6- and 8-cylinder powertrains. More details on the Jaguar F-Type AWD will be announced during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, in a couple of weeks.
